Will the hearts come apart while I'm wearing it?

The four hearts are linked to each other and stay on the chain. Small magnets hold the clover or the row in shape, so a firm pull or a snag can open it. Take it off for sports and sleep, and fold it back in a second if it opens.

Will it turn green?

It's plated jewellery, so treat it gently. Take it off to shower, swim or work out, keep perfume and lotion off it, and store it dry. That keeps the plating bright for longer. Very sensitive skin may react to plated metals.

What is it made of?

A plated pendant in gold-tone or silver-tone, set with clear cubic zirconia: small stones along every heart's edge and one slim baguette inside each heart.

How long is the chain?

The chain is adjustable, up to 50 cm, so it can sit close at the collarbone or a little lower. The open row of hearts looks best worn a touch higher, where it can sit flat.

Is it hard to switch between the two looks?

No. Pull the hearts gently apart to open the row, or fold them back with their points to the centre until the magnets hold. It's easiest in front of a mirror the first few times.

Is it a good gift?
