Will the chains tangle?
Far less than three separate necklaces. The chains are joined at the clasp and hang at set lengths, so there's nothing loose to knot in the drawer. If the layers twist while you wear it, turn the clasp at the back and they fall back into place.
How long is each layer?
The three layers measure 36, 42 and 47 cm (about 14, 16.5 and 18.5 in), plus a 5 cm extender chain. Use the extender to drop all three a little lower.
Will it turn green or fade?
It's stainless steel with a gold-tone plated finish. Like any plated piece, the finish lasts longer when it stays dry: take it off before you shower or swim, and put perfume on first.
How heavy is it?
About 12.5 g for all three chains. That's light enough to wear all day.
Can I wear the chains separately?
No. The three chains are joined at the clasp, which is what keeps them spaced and neat.
