Questions, answered
How big are they?
Each hoop is 23 mm across (about 0.9 in). Some maker photos also show a smaller 15 mm size: we only sell the 23 mm pair. It hangs just below the lobe, big enough to notice and small enough for every day.
What are the stones and the metal?
The stones are clear cubic zirconia, a lab-made stone known for its bright sparkle. The base is stainless steel with a gold-tone plated finish.
Will they turn my ears green?
They're gold-tone plated stainless steel. Plating lasts longest when it stays dry and away from perfume, so take them off to shower or swim. If your ears react to plated jewellery, these may not suit you.
How do they close?
With a hinged latch. Lift the thin bar, slide it through your piercing and press it into the catch until it clicks. There are no separate backs to lose.
Can I sleep or shower in them?
We'd take them off. Water, soap and a night on the pillow wear a plated finish faster, so they'll look better for longer if they rest overnight.
Do they make a good gift?
Yes. They're one size and go with almost everything, so they're an easy birthday or bridesmaid gift. Add a small box or pouch of your own.
